Koh Samui is home to some of the most revered temples in Thailand, and Guan Yu Shrine in the Hua Thanon area near Lamai Beach is one of the island's most significant cultural landmarks. This impressive shrine features a towering 16-meter-tall bronze statue of Guan Yu, a Chinese warrior deity known for his loyalty, bravery, and righteousness. It is the largest bronze statue of Guan Yu in Thailand and serves as an important holy site for both locals and visitors.
